Would have thought that was fairly obvious. Flowers probably hadn’t even heard of them until the other day.

We must be the only team who wants former players to come back. It’s bizarre. Wonder who else from 2018 is going to come back?
Joe's a top lad and his old man a legend but for me he needs to have improved significantly from his last season at the club to be considered a 'great signing'

Can you imagine the vitriol if AP had signed 4 players that Tim Flowers hadn't scouted?
Seems to me that the players being signed fit the main criteria ie well within budget. That is not in anyway casting doubt on their ability at our level all proven players at our level.

Lee totally concur with your last sentence.
If we get to the play offs this season it would be an even bigger miracle than Kingy pulled off in my opinion
How do we know Tim hasn’t scouted them?
By his own admission he watches a huge amount of non-league matches so he has probably seen them all play at some point. Unless he has lied in the interview.
Still, it’s 6 we have at this point in time & the first pre-season fixture is only 6wks away, so another 6-7 to come before we start considering trialists.
Great to have some of the cream of a past crop coming back, especially Harry Williams and Joe Hanks. I'm hoping that we can hold onto at least half a dozen of the last year's team, supplement with a few signings/triallists, youth team. The lad Hill deserves a chance.

I don't want much.
