They used to have an independent forum (Paranormal in the West Country?) - what happened to that?

I got banned from the original one for putting a link in my signature with the words "DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK" which, if you clicked on the link opened up about a hundred mini windows at once with one of them embedded with a sound file repeating "I'M LOOKING AT GAY PORN".
I sit back and imagine the chaos of someone surfing the FGR forum at work then clicking the link in an office full of people
They banned me for that. I specifically told them not to click on the link, yet I'm the one whose banned

I think it's run it's course. I don't think anyone would've heard of him or Ecotricity had it not been for his links with the football club. He's involved with Just Stop Oil now isn't he?
He was but isn’t anymore.

There are actually some things I think FGR do need some credit for. I think sustainability and climate change are massive issues (I know not everyone will agree) and I think a lot of their work on this is commendable.
I even have some sympathy with the whole vegan thing, if that's your principles and how you want to run a club, then all power to you. If people don't like it they can vote with their feet at the end of the day.
The big issue is that the vast majority of that is lost as a result of DV turning it into some kind of vanity project/circus act.
All in all they come across as a pretty unlikeable club, which I guess is a shame for those fans who've been with them for the whole journey, and I doubt many neutrals will be sad to see them go down (myself included).
As its been mentioned Just Stop Oil for me suffer from the same problem. I largely agree with the cause but largely disagree with their tactics, and just think they need their heads knocking together as they've annoyed vast swathes of the population and effectively stopped any chance they had of making a positive impact.

I know of fans who were there back in the day who've been alienated by the club and stopped going since they became big time.

Big day for the Scuzz tomorrow, they have to better the results of Cambridge United and Burton Albion, both of whom are away at already relegated clubs.

National embarrassment by October and then got it back enough for some false hope in April, absolutely lovely stuff.
