Lets Hope the winners of get a 3rd round trip vs Man Utd away!
Ineligible player it seems
How have two teams done this now? The mind boggles!
Beat Scarbourgh 2-4 tonight after they were told to replay the Game for the same offence as Barnsley were kicked out for last season,Ive only ever seen teams get kicked out of cup comps for this so was suprised to see this outcome, If It had been use they would have kicked us out and fined us most probably!
Wasn't it that they player wasn't cup tied but they hadn't sought permission or informed the parent club that the player, on loan, would be playing?

Something along those lines, different rule (109) breach to Barnsley (103). Plus they appealed and Barnsley didn’t. It was the emergency loan keeper from Bristol Rovers.
Dale Vince released a statement to say that they basically hadn’t informed the FA that FGR had permission from the parent club to play their loan keeper in the Cup. So he was eligible, just didn’t tell the FA.
Barnsley had played a player that wasn’t even allowed to be on the pitch.
Making them replay the game for such a minor technical breach seems overkill. Essentially they've played a player they were entitled to play, so sporting integrity was not impacted. For me the FA do themselves no favours at times! Think Blackpool were quite rightly miffed about the impact it had on their schedule as well.
