There was a statement from the board last week which didn't really fill me with much promise going forward, but whilst reading it I thought it was going to have been written by Alex. Seemingly though it wasn't and there was no mention of him at all in the statement. We haven't heard from him in weeks now which is very unlike him and I wonder why that is. Is there a reason why he has gone missing? Some fans moaned that Patrick was silent when things weren't going well, but Alex is doing exactly the same and those fans aren't moaning about that. Maybe me putting 2 & 2 together and coming up with 5, but is something going on? His silence just adds to thinking that everything off the pitch is in chaos.
Probably because the Board run things and not AP.

And if you believe that you’ll believe anything

Whose funding the club then?
TBH I have forgotten who comprises the Board....
The bigger question is why have we installed a proxy company when Gloucester City 1980 Ltd is the one affiliated with the FA? It’s a smokescreen - you can’t just change to a new company or else every club would be doing it to avoid being chucked out the league when being wound up.

Someone is trying to give the impression that they own more of the club than they really do. The shareholders list is still on companies house for all to see.

Strange...what legal status does this company have?
Personally I haven't got a handle on what's really going on. To my thinking Alex had enough towards the end of last season. The going professional, Gloucester sports dream died and we had the Chambers installed. AP & EM got rid of them and we now have the new board installed to run the club on a sustainable basis. I guess AP has still had to throw a few quid at it but I don't expect to hear anything from him until the end of the season when we're likely relegated. What happens then is just a guess. Our best hope is the new board run the club on the budget us fans bring in. The alternative could be far more serious and could jepordise the existence of the club as we currently know it. My worry is that talk of the debts the Chambers mentioned and only found out about when they took over. Will they be cleared by the end of this season or hanging over us in a league below?
I think that is the big problem, no one really knows what is going on. Who actually is in charge of the club and who is spending the money? What is Alex's involvement in the club?
Well when Theo Robinson was signed didn't MC thank AP for putting his hands in his pocket to get him in?
