Are you able to help after the Torquay and Yeovil games?
As you know we have a lot of games coming up at the TT in the next few days. After each game there is a need to clean the terraces, loos and changing rooms so all is ready for the next games which are often the next day.
The attendances at a lot of these games is not huge and our guests are largely respectful of the ground. This means it's only taking a couple of hours to get the place ready to go again.
However, the attendance for the Torquay and Yeovil games are likely to be much higher meaning it'll take much longer to tidy up. I am thinking I may need some help just for these two games.
It would be great if another person were able to come down the day following these two matches to help me out. Starting about 09.30 it'll primarily be litter picking and emptying bins. You'll need gloves and if you've a litter picker it might be handy. I've got the bin bags etc.
If you can help please could you drop me a message on here please?
Thank you.
Hi mate, I’ll likely be there Monday night doing the steward stuff, will confirm and if there, will clear the stadium of litter. Can’t do the mornings as at work

Cheers Craig, that would be a great help. I'm not planning to go to Torquay game myself so won't be about to help on the night. Most likely see you Saturday though where I'm hoping to get terraces cleared and bins refreshed between our game and ko of the Truro match later in the day...the long standing post City match volunteers (which don't include me) do the Club proud with what they've done all season. It makes a tremendously positive difference particularly in more 'usual' times to the City teams who play on the Sunday.
Hi SL, have missed a few home games recently, but will be there to help clear up after our home game. I too can’t commit to mornings due to work, but will try to get to those ‘big games’ if I can to help clear up straight after.

That was supposed to be a star !!! Doh
As STs are allowed in I will probably go to the Yeovil game.
I already womble at the home games so will help clear up as usual afterwards. Hope the skips are emptied though as it was a nightmare on Saturday. Not fun dealing with burst bin liners etc down there while everyone else is in the bar.
We have generated a lot more rubbish with the extra games.
A general point - I don't think anyone from the "club" has the foggiest of what a handful of us do clearing up after games. At least Stable Lad actually thanked me one week which was appreciated.
There is no kit provided so I bring gloves, bin bags and even a dustpan and brush for the food court.
This is not a winge just observations. No one is forcing making me help out - I help out because I want our ground to be as tidy as it can be (well ......Gray and Mim pressganged me but you couldn't refuse them

)
Thank you to those who litter picked the terraces after the Torquay match. This and the good housekeeping of our friends from Truro made this mornings womble much more straightforward than I feared when told, by a fan, that many more than 300 odd were expected.
The big blue bin for general waste was emptied today and the black bin bags held in the 'holding bay' I'd put together all moved over. So that is good to go. The recycling/card bin is due to be collected later in the week.
No worries pal. I’m there weds eve also, so will do upmost to get it cleared again. 3 of us cleared last night
Well done to all the volunteers who are giving of their time to the Club. If I could work out how to do the ‘clapping hands’ emoji, I’d do it.
