Now that got your attention!
Considering the size of the city, could we make the claim that we are actually the lowest placed club in the football pyramid? If so, someone should call the "marketing department " (sic). We could be on to a winner. Documentaries, everyone's second favourite team could bekon......
I'm sure somebody will burst my bubble......

This would suggest we’re right in the mix, with Poole and Telford just worse than us. (And Westminster top if you include them)

Pop!
Is there any way we could swing it. Grab the title? It would mean a cup, fame and notoriety.

By urban status, population and league position I present to you the UK's sh*t*st football team. Gloucester City! Westminster shouldn't count obviously and Telford and Poole are only towns. We are City! Shouldn't that make us proud!
Telford could go up, which would leave us in a straight fight with the porpoises.

Bring it on!

Does anyone have Murdoch, Sky's number ? We need to make a pitch for a six part documentary series for next season. Working title " How low can you go? "
Until this season Warrington hosted a club that hadn't 'achieved'.

If you're talking population sizes and teams, Nailsworth has a population of 5000+ and is by far the smallest place (ever) to host an EFL team. Presumably Mr Egotricity will ship the entire population out (by electric buses) to his new stadium every other Saturday if it ever gets built.

Maybe Mr vice chairman of the cubs we could change our nickname from the Tigers to the snakes Undecided

Or can we .

Interestingly those figures change based upon the 2021 census.
This season our USP ( unique selling point) was the burger. That was tasty but proved divisive amongst the fan base. Surely we can all get behind the fact that we're officially rubbish. Historically Britain's least successful side based on location and population. That's something that unites us. I understand the attachment to the old yellow and black kit but we're possibly missing a trick. How about yellow and brown? That would truly represent our status as the UK'S sh*tt*st club? Let's face it sometimes the toilets don't work and we've got no loo roll. Perfect.
I think I've gone far enough........

You've forgotten the Doctor Foster sized potholes outside the ground.

For all its faults there are worse grounds in this league. Speaking to some Brackley supporters recently they were very complimentary about NMP. I don't think they were wearing spectacles.

As for where we are, it's true on population we should host a modest-sized EFL club but that subject has been covered so many times on this forum  - and as we know, until certain issues are resolved, we won't be climbing the pyramid. Other than last season and null & void we've always struggled at this level. Perhaps SL is our level, although I find that hard to accept.
