Maybe our new manager (whoever that will be) will bring one with him!?

We need strength in the squad, so yes. We should also bolster the midfield and defence, finances permitting of course.
Campbell is only with us until January so any goals he scores is a bonus but you can’t build a squad around him.

Well we just lost about the best striker at our level so yes I think we should replace him with someone similar.

Quite liked what I saw of Tahvon yesterday, and considering it was his first match with the club a day after he signed I don't think we can complain. He was doing a LOT of talking with the other players and looked like he was hungry. No complaints from me about how he did.
Plus I think "Proven striker" does the leagues top scorer a disservice.

When we get our key players back Tahvon will get a fair few chances, also the absence of Carline and Whittle is key to our style of play.
Proven goal scorers normally have a hefty fee attached to them especially 10 games into a season, I’d be looking to get in a player who would compliment Mclure who let’s not forget is our top scorer.

Asante wasn't really a proven goal scorer before Chester. McClure’s current goals per game record at City is significantly better than it’s been in his career to date. You don’t always know you’ve got a proven goal scorer until you’ve given them a chance to prove themselves. Tahvon’s record is one in one, not bad I’d say.

I thought Tahvon's goal was a real poacher's one yesterday which was good to see. Let's face it he didn't get many chances to shine yesterday and he should keep us going whilst we wait to get someone in long term. You never know though he could end up staying with us given he's fallen out of favour at C********m.

Taking nothing away from MM he is a top goal scorer a proper fox in the box but is there room for two goal poachers.Where as AA was big and robust , upset defenders and made space for MM . If you look at a lot of his goals they were assisted by Asante, the perfect combination.
