Didn’t do us any harm today, Telford, Gateshead both dropping points, still top!

Stay unbeaten over the next couple of games and we'll be top on New Year's Day.

Any other year and that would be hugely significant, now its *just* significant for us City fans who couldn't have dreamt the forthcoming 12 months, 12 months ago.

The next two fixtures look winnable but potential banana skins depending on your perspective. Curzon lost at Spennymoor on Saturday but are the only side to have beaten Fylde in the league so far. Leamington lost their first two league games but are unbeaten in the league since, including inflicting York's only league defeat to date.

I think we should still be top at Christmas I don't know how long for though, it depends if we can replace the ones who jumped ship and no more deserters.

We will be top on Christmas Day unless Fylde beat Hereford & we lose to Curzon on the 12th, & that set of results overturns our plus 7 (seven) goal difference advantage.
