This predicted final table makes for grim reading:

According to the predicted results we'll only win one more match - against Scarborough at the end of the month. We just have to prove them wrong. Easy...

Gloucester City no longer existed?

Worst case scenario of course.

Well assuming we are in the Southern League next season and MC stays on as manager what players will we keep? Clearly those on contract plus Emmett assuming they want to stay of course....

Team looking doomed to relegation
Infighting between players/fans/board members
Club unable to do basic tasks like answering emails
No toilet roll
Flat beer
Dwindling crowds

Fed up with it? Join the Supporters Trust and have your views shared with the board via our Supporter Representative, let’s use our collective efforts to take back control at this club, put an end to the madness and get back the club we used to know.

Come on then everyone, let’s get behind the lads and have a bit of positivity around the place. For those 90 minutes it’s what EVERY fan has to do. No excuses. Come on City!

An FGR supporter said to me recently that 'every club finds its level'. He said that they were fine as a club in NL but L1 & 2 were not where they should be - "what's a club at the top of a village doing playing in L2" were his actual words. He was as disparaging of their setup as we are of ours.

We're a club representing a small provincial city that's spent 70 years in the SL and 15 years mostly clinging on at our current level. We have a population that could feasibly support a L2 club, but history and financial etc etc circumstances indicate it's not going to happen anytime soon, if ever.

So, whilst we all want the club to progress, is there a realistic level we should be playing at? Have we earned the right to be playing in NLN, or with our ground and financial circumstances is SL really where we're comfortable? Personally, I think we should be L2, but after so many years beginning to think it's a pipe dream with the current setup, unless Elon Musk steps in.

Nice little trip up north tonight. Mike Cook says that this is the most inconsistent team he's ever managed so that should mean that we're gonna win 3-0!

There was a statement from the board last week which didn't really fill me with much promise going forward, but whilst reading it I thought it was going to have been written by Alex. Seemingly though it wasn't and there was no mention of him at all in the statement. We haven't heard from him in weeks now which is very unlike him and I wonder why that is. Is there a reason why he has gone missing? Some fans moaned that Patrick was silent when things weren't going well, but Alex is doing exactly the same and those fans aren't moaning about that. Maybe me putting 2 & 2 together and coming up with 5, but is something going on? His silence just adds to thinking that everything off the pitch is in chaos.

OOps! got the name wrong on the deleted thread.

Just signed an under 18 Welsh goalkeeper, baffled as to why?
