Vera Lynn - Neil - 02-02-2024

Starting this one early.

Big game tomorrow. It's sh1t or bust as far as I'm concerned, the last two wins have been excellent but they've only been the foundation for us to get out. It's like Jesse trying to get out of that cage in Breaking Bad. Or Marv climbing out of the basement in Home Alone 2.

Nothing but a win for me. Please be an Alfreton or a Curzon and not a Blyth or Darlington.

No Harry Emmett so Jame Reckord needs to be fit and I'd start the lad from Harrogate on the left hoping that he's a pacy winger who can get in behind them. I'd like to start two up front but no matter how I try to fit everyone in we'd need to start with twelve players.

And lets fill the ground. Get behind them. Get behind them, get behind your football team.

It's the same for them - they're in trouble if they lose to us. We at least have a better team now than when we played them earlier in the season. Emmett being out though isn't good, and it's not the game to replace a goalkeeper. If they do a Darlo on us then our options begin to look limited, if we win we give ourselves a fighting chance.

TP1 - TP1 - 03-02-2024

Steven King is sat in the City Stand. With Barnes -Homer.

I think they’re sat with the KL owner.

RE: Vera Lynn - Darran - 03-02-2024

I think we need to hope Spennymoor and Southport keep struggle to pick up wins.

RE: Vera Lynn - Andrew R - 03-02-2024

The only positive is that the teams around us all lost, but there’s still a four point gap to Southport, who have a couple of games in hand.

No they didn't Kings Lynn and Buxton won and Spennymoor drew as did Banbury.

How did Armstrong play?

RE: Vera Lynn - Andrew R - 03-02-2024

I mean the teams occupying the relegation places: Stortford, Darlington, Southport.

RE: Vera Lynn - Wilesy - 03-02-2024

That was pretty bad, tbh. No real fight which was sad to see. Kinda rolled over and gave up at 1-0. Their second was was a walk in the park.

We're done for.
