Alex, massive thanks to you, Steve, Eamonn, all those unnamed people and the players.
I certainly appreciate the huge efforts being undertaken to get us home and get us playing again, and the efforts to keep us afloat for the past 13 years.

RE: Programme notes ... - KINGSWAYRUNNER - 04-04-2020

Thank you for the update, very insightful. I have a question, with the news yesterday that PL players were to donate 30% of wages with that being split between The NHS, EFL clubs and Nationa League clubs what impact, if any do you see that having? ie do you actually see the club getting any of that money?

RE: Programme notes ... - Alex Petheram - 04-04-2020

Hi Kingswayrunner

£125m is what they have released, claim to have released, that's to be split between 139 clubs from the Championship to the NL North and South.

We're at that bottom of that food chain... but I have requested and produced a P&L account making a claim for City. It comes back to that word again "hope"... I hope we do with all my heart!

Citygull,

Expectations are want always need to be managed ... as with expectation come pressure ... and currently added pressure is something the club can do without.

Eric Van DF,

I know why you refer to Eamonn as EMG ... But EMG was actually his Dad. The groundworks company EMG was formed by Brian and Eamonn in their Dad memory. Eamonn is EFM... he really dislikes the EMG reference. But as he never speaks up... much like me ha ha... know one would have ever known that.

How's that for fact of the day hey! Oh and Steve likes to be called Lord... or was that bald ... my dyslexia gets them mixed up!
