Correct ... however ... only for players that are free agents or are at our level or below ... we are hopefully looking to bring in players from higher...

Hence a couple of short term loans until January signings?

Yes ... that's the plan. Who and how is the question ... Paul is working hard with Adie on options ... how many we get in will come down to money, luck, timing and charm ... but Paul and I met yesterday, we agreed the budget for these two and other targets ... We won't rush or panic ... we want the right player ... the risk is some might come in for our current players and the wheel keeps spinning ...

Our players read the COF too by the way ... Hi Skip!

I notice Josh March hasn't played much for FGR this season. This time last year he was scoring for fun for Leamington (including against us on Boxing Day).....

That sounds like a sensible way forward, give the manager a couple of weeks to acclimatise and see what he needs, and then look to the league in January. There will inevitably be some good players who will be released in a very competitive market, let's hope they fit the system and there will be a match!

Decent shout that.

Also, thanks for the update Alex. Sounds promising.

Ex-Cirencester/Hartpury striker Owen Windsor has just finished a loan spell at Grimsby from WBA, so is presumably available for loan again. He's only 19, but  already has been playing in men's football since he was 16.

C********m looking to shift Reuben Reid in January. He's from Bristol so relatively local, still got a couple of seasons left in him, and would be a top signing for our level.
