What Solo Artists/Groups are you into? Recently, I have been watching INXS on YouTube. This is them performing 'New Sensation' at the old Wembley Stadium in 1991. Can't believe it is 31 years ago.

I went to watch Bon Jovi at Wembley Stadium in 1995 with my Sister.
 Also been to the New Wembley Stadium to see Take That, Robbie Williams and supporting them was the Pet Shop Boys. My Mum and her Twin Sister went, they asked me if I wanted to go. I went, also was a chance to go to the New Wembley Stadium.

Nowadays I'm obsessed with Belinda Carlisle. We have a routine in our apartment where every Friday night we watch Belinda videos on YouTube and drinks gallons of wine. I mentioned it to Belinda once on Instagram and she said she absolutely loved it. Highlight of my life that was getting a reply from her haha

Not sure who Leapy Lee is but love a bit of Belinda. This seemed to be on Severn Sound after every match coming home from City after the game when I first started watching. Always takes me back.

Belinda Carlisle's first musical venture (pre GoGos) was as Dottie Danger, drummer for Los Angeles notorious hardcore punk band The Germs. The band's bass player was Pat Smear, later of Nirvana and The Foo Fighters. You can now sleep easier and win a pub quiz with that nugget of information.

Back in the late 70s, music was very tribal. We used to go to Whitcombe Lodge in Brockworth (now the site of the Chase Hotel) where for a couple of quid or less you could watch bands such as The Damned, The Ruts, The Cure, The Cramps, The Adverts, The Specials etc perform on a small stage. Usually accompanied by showers of gob. Other venues were the long gone Plough in C********m and the Jamaican Club off Eastern Avenue (scene of the last Generation X gig featuring Billy Idol). I can recall seeing The Jam a couple of times in Malvern. Gloucester had a few punk bands. Some people remember Demob and 'No Room for You'. The Vox Phantoms were another good Gloucester band (https://youtu.be/cPTSyykfMRs ). They were fun times - but each to their own generation.

 I can remember 'Steps' appearing at C********m Town quite recently. 'Tragedy'.

One of my guilty pleasures are Tears for Fears - 'Songs from the Big Chair' being in my top ten albums of all time. Just bought their comeback album not expecting much. Some absolute crackers on there.
