Friendlies week 1. Crowd trouble at Southport stops the match for a while and the Bolton boss none too happy about the pitch at Chorley. Never a dull moment!!

No crowd trouble at Kayte Lane on Saturday where Cleeve overcame plucky Lye Town 3-2. Ok neither of them are in the NLN but Cleeve are our hosts on Friday. Decent bar which will be open well before the game (kick off 7.45). There's a burger cafe too. Excellent 4g pitch with goal posts/crossbar that don't move when hit by the ball. Plenty of parking which is just as well as there's no easy options otherwise.
Cleeve have a prolific stand out striker (at Level 4/5) Jack Watts who helped them to promotion last season. Interesting to see whether he also stands out vs our defence.
