Saturday 3rd September, 2016.
AFC Fylde 2 - 2 Gloucester City. (Vanarama North).
This was my first visit to AFC Fylde's Mill Farm ground. Went up on the supporters mini bus, my previous visit to AFC Fylde, was at there previous ground, (the end of season 6 - 4 game)?
Some other supporters and I went to the Bar before the game. Impressive, with TV screens positioned in different areas, and they did various meals as well.
Entering the ground, after purchasing a Ticket from the Box Office, I was initially impressed with Mill Farm. After a while, I noticed there was no perimeter wall / fence around the pitch. When the ball went out of play, it would go through to the terraced areas. Was surprised that AFC Fylde were allowed to play games at the ground at the time. The main seated stand had an odd looking roof.
The match watched by a crowd of 1426, saw City get a 2 - 2 draw. The City goals were scored by strikers Joe Parker, and Craig Reid.

Tuesday 11th September 2001.
Cirencester Town 1 - 1 Gloucester City. (Dr Martens League, Western Division).
Gloucester City travelled to play there Gloucestershire rivals on this Tuesday Evening. A crowd of 167 was at the Corinium Stadium, to watch both sides get a point from this match. The Gloucester goalscorer was Lee Smith.
Having not attended this match, I am not sure what the general atmosphere was like in the ground. This particular date and year was when the World changed. America had the horrific attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. America was also targeted in other locations, within the Country.

Im pretty sure though I maybe wrong that there was no added time with the consent of both teams to allow a helicopter to land on the pitch to pick up a seriously injured paratrooper who had been injured at South Cerney military base.

It was an evening game and I know some fans were in the ground for a while after the final whistle waiting for the helicopter to clear
At one time a local business man used MP as a helicopter landing pad quite regularly. I recall arriving early one Saturday to unlock and get the ground and turnstiles set up for the afternoon match, to find it parked on the pitch with nobody in sight. After a brief panic as what to do, the pilot appeared and off it went into thd blue, much to my relief.

Saturday 23rd September 1995.
Gloucester City 0 - 1 Cinderford Town. (FA Cup, 2nd Qualifying Round).
Gloucester City were in FA Cup action on this date. City were hosting fellow Gloucestershire team Cinderford Town. The Meadow Park crowd of 921, were to see Gloucester get beat 1 - 0, by the team from the Forest of Dean.
This was in the 1995/96 season, I believe that Cinderford went onto have a Fantastic FA Cup Run. I think Tim Harris was Cinderford's Manager at the time? Cinderford got to the FA Cup 2nd Round Proper? I think they played Gravesend and Northfleet in this Round? Believe that Gravesend beat Cinderford in a Replay. If Cinderford had Won this Match, they would have been away to Aston Villa in the 3rd Round Proper.
