Pleasant to see that result today, we needed 1.4ppg from the remaining games to get to 50 points and that’s a good start. Two local lads on the scoresheet in the last two matches as well.

Best performance of the season today. We've got a properly balanced side now and played some great football.

Spennymoor were a very good side and scored 2 excellent goals, but we were well worthy of our 3 points.

Cross MOTM for me but everyone put in a great shift from 1-11.

Keep playing like that and we'll start climbing the table and hopefully attract better crowds too.

Totally agree Joe and that was without BRE at the back for whom Max Ram covered and was excellent. What a find Liam Cross is. All goals are good goals but Hanks’s bullet cross for Duffus to score was undefendable simply brilliant ( I was behind the goal) and Elliot Durrell doing to Spennymoor what he did against us on several occasions- won the ball just outside our box brought it forward and slipped a sublime ball through to the on running Cross to lift over the keeper.

Does make you wonder why Cross wasn't playing for Brackley. Also wonder if they will want him back now he's playing so well.

Result aside, table aside, that was just an enjoyable watch. A proper good game of football, with some very good goals from both teams.
