The National League have announced that there hasn't been a big enough uptake in streaming at our level and therefore they are greatly reducing the coverage at Step 2. My guess is we won't have another game streamed for the rest of the season based on our remaining fixtures which could be streamed. They are now only doing 3 games per division on a full match day and selected other games.

Been confirmed that neither of our away games at Chorley or Buxton this month will be streamed.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

I haven't got a streaming season ticket. I'd be wanting a refund if I did.

They are offering refunds to people who have got a season ticket of a club at Step 2. Given how many games I have watched though I wont be asking for one myself especially as its pretty clear I use it not just to watch City games.

Are there figures published for how many people actually paid for individual games?

I mainly think though that people just don’t really want to watch our level of football on a stream. Even during covid not everyone on here would watch the streams and there were also people who didn’t pay to watch the play off game at Brackley. Maybe if we were doing better that would have helped. I think the national league thought that clubs would stream it themselves in the bar and pay for the public stream which I would imagine would probably cover most of the cost but I’ve seen very few clubs actually advertise they have done that. It’s no surprise they have chosen Chester and Torquay games given they have the most fans and thus their games would no doubt make a profit. It’s a shame but if the demand isn’t there then you can’t just keep doing it for the handful that watch it.
