1-1. England had the first half but Canada were better side in the second, though what looked v much like last kick penalty could have won it for the Lionesses. Ref had a different view!!

Yeah I was very impressed by England first half, especially their midfield pressing. Frightening pace and direct attack from ex Bristol City Lauren Hemp. Canada's Buchanan was excellent, and kept them in the game.
Some of the passing out of defence seemed a bit close for comfort though!

Spain looked like they had the edge over England to me.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was the match that I will be watching in the Euro Finals in June - have managed to get tickets for the family at Wembley.

What do they charge for that. Saw a bit of todays game and there were a lot of empty seats. Googled it and decent tickets were 30 quid.
Seems daft. Surely better to make it affordable and fill Carrow Road!
Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

We have bog standard Wembley seat tickets. £15 for each adult, £7.50 for the chabby. £37.50 total for a major tournament final - can't grumble at that. Its also a Sunday at 5pm so plenty of time to travel there and back on the day.
14,000+ at Carrow Road, bit of a low crowd for England these days although I don't think the weather would have helped and also a little bit out of the way to travel to.

Drive on the M6 north of Carlisle and every third car will have an Arnold Clark sticker in the back window.

At Wolves for the England match and already had two separate families come over to wish City luck in the League!! The power of the scarf!!
Perhaps not the best England performance but a very exciting finish, the sort of drama that football can produce once in the while. Watching all the families and kids behind us celebrate and jump for joy was lovely to see
