Like them or hate them, like Dale Vince  or hate him you have to congratulate FGR on their promotion to league 1.We as a Club can emulate them, far greater fan base ,exciting times ahead for us.

Trevor Horsley laid the foundations. Frank Gregan was instrumental in getting FGR to the then Vauxhall Conference. They had experience in the team with Nigel Spink and Tony Daley, also had Marc McGregor, Stuart Fleetwood and Alex Sykes?
Dale Vince took the batten, and went up a few gears.

Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.
 Danny ANDREW, Jake ANDREWS.

Agreed - they're manufactured rubbish and wouldn't be anywhere near League One without the stupid money that's been put into them.

This is a team averaging the 4th lowest in attendance in League 2 despite the fact they're at their highest ever point.  They struggled to sell 700 tickets for the game at Bristol Rovers today which was always going to be a promotion party.

Now, as a Robins fan I can't brag about attendances - in Football League terms ours are shite - but they have not had a significant increase since reaching the Football League and it's not going to increase.  Once Vince backs out, and he definitely will at some point, they are going pop.  And for those who don't like being sugar-daddied up the leagues (and there are still a few) it'll be a crying shame when they are fighting to save their club from oblivion.

**** Dale Vince and **** the new Forest Green.  In fact, **** El Glosico as well, because no phrase in football is more embarrassing.

Can’t abide them and everything they stand for.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Well said. In the words of a York City fan on Twitter commenting on his own club today, ‘I genuinely hate every single person involved with the club in any capacity with every ounce and fibre of my being’

“There’s a mole. Right at the top of the circus. He’s been there for years.”

Well Dale Vince promised them league football and he put his money where his mouth was so good luck to them, jealousy is an ugly thing. I'm just sorry Colin Gardner is not here to see it and I bet my old mate Mike Bulbeck will be having a few beers tonight.

Maybe controversial but I think there are some things to like about them.  Not a fan of the outlandish statements, brash attitude and general moneyed nature of the team. I'd rather see them go backwards than forwards  and as others have said El Glosico is just about the cringiest thing ever.

All that being said, the whole piece around sustainability and eco awareness deserves a lot of credit. They've helped push forward what is I believe is an important topic.  Dale Vince is a generally unlikeable chap, but I think you need to give him a little credit for what he has achieved.
