What Music are you into?

Been watching on YouTube, people from the US reacting to things from the UK. Watched ones regarding there reaction to our crisps, they hate Monster Munch Pickled Onion flavour. They on the whole prefer Cadbury chocolate to there Hershey's.
Also watched there reaction to UK music, which they love. What I find surprising is that a few Americans have never heard of George Michael. If you mentioned David Bowie or Elton John to them, they would have heard of them.
Here is someone reacting to George Michael performing at the Queen Freddie Mercury Concert. George doing a fantastic version of 'Somebody to Love'.

If I remember correctly, George Michael passed away on Christmas Day. I remember literally not hearing about it till the next day, Boxing Day. Gloucester City were away to Brackley Town, coming back on the supporters coach, I literally first heard about it then.

He used to live in Goring, his house was along the Thames Path. When I walked the Path about 10 years ago he front of his house was just covered in floral tributes. There was also fun and laughter, but barely enough for everyone.

Must be something about the Thames and musicians. We also passed Jimmy Page's house, and there was a statue of Michael Jackson outside Craven Cottage

Whilst I was in The Royal Free hospital, in London, my ward had a great view of the Heath he used to frequent looking for badgers, and the Snappy Snaps store that he mistook for a drive-thru.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

When my old man used to go on holiday with his sister and her friend to a rural location in Devon he once said that he was going cottaging. I pray that I was the only person he ever said that to.

Today it will be The Specials and Fun Boy Three. For many of us, Terry Hall was one of the voices of our generation; lyrics that are as relevant today as they were back in the day. Hopefully a few of his songs will form part of the playlist of clubs up and down the country over the coming weeks.

Taken too soon God bless
