I love the club history, it's fascinating. We had an ex-England centre back playing for us at Horton Road. Not a lot of people know that.

I'm with Kingsway on this,When I started following City I heard/read about the Cardiff FA cup run and I dreamt of us having happen something similar which you could say it has happened since,Also find the history of the club interesting like the Horton road days and Longlevens, some of the posters on here give me an insight so when I can listen to an "inside" view like Tim H or Burnsey I'm going to listen,I think the past can help in the future, you could say by raising the New ground by 7 feet has come from learning from the past!

The job of the manager and players is to go out there and give us something new to talk about for the next 30 years

I understand Citygull’s view, but I guess T-End Talk should be the podcast to cover those angles.

I agree on focusing on the future of the Club. Unless you have a Crystal Ball, it is difficult to say too much about it. It is good to have a target, say, Gloucester City AFC to be in the National League in three seasons time.
I began watching gcafc in 1994. I love hearing about the FA Cup tie with Cardiff City, and the pre season friendly with Arsenal.
In my time watching gcafc, there have been historical moments. 1996/97 season, League and FA Trophy challenging. Chris Burns FA Trophy run, defeating Vauxhall Conference Teams Southport and Woking. Play off Final victory against Farnborough. FA Cup 1st Round matches against Leyton Orient and Fleetwood Town.
Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.
Danny ANDREW, Jake ANDREWS.
