I'd say not - but obviously it's not about Gloucester's name as such, as the one serial killer came from Much Marcle in Herefordshire and his wife came from Devon. It was Gloucester's misfortune and their victims that they settled here. They actually met and lived in C********m for a time. I think there was some sort of kerfuffle involving Telford's travelling idiots last season and the name came up as a taunt, so sadly there's still that undeserved association.

Absolutely right Paul - there are a lot of places who have the West's grubby prints over them and it wasn't the places they lived that made them what they were - it was the monsters who brought them up, a series of chance events, opportunity, and most of all meeting each other!

But, it's Gloucester's legacy unfortunately. We used to be notorious for it. Hopefully time is becoming a healer. It was noticable that when I spoke to Alex Whittle when he signed he didn't have a clue. He didn't know Frank Whittle either mind.
