Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

She was staying at the same Premier Inn as us, right outside Wembley Stadium. This was the evening of the record breaking 2019 Women's FA Cup Final between Man City and West Ham. She was playing, we were watching.
After a brilliant day and a 'relaxed' evening, La Famille Panache went down for breakfast to encounter Jill Scott waiting for bacon. She was only too delighted to allow my chabby and her friend selfies, even as the pork products were being presented behind her just ahead of the grasping hands of the lardasserie.
Not the first time we have met, no.
There's an in-joke in the football industry whereby the smallest child mascots are paired up with the tallest players, when walking out on the pitch. This happened to us some years ago when Jill was playing for Manchester City against Bristol City and my little cherub had associations with the regional powerhouse. Gill was very attentive and interested, I can see why she was so popular.
I've no doubt she'll forge a successful career around the women's game.
Top Class, both on and off the pitch.
