Just shows that we are on the up that we’re even talking to players of that caliber.

He clearly thinks the grass is greener further south.
Glenn Murray still does a decent job up front for Brighton at coming on 37!

Definitely,it’s like Si said, the style Danny Wright can play until he’s 40,just like a keeper or a big ugly center back as there games is not always about pace.

Every year he gets mentioned and every year he never signs! Is any good now as he’s dropped down so much since his peak?
I remember seeing him in the T-END back in the day.

I think you will find Glenn Murray doesn’t play every game.

I've heard that Alex has said that he didn't actually speak to him. Wonder if Daly had a word and that was the extent of the talks. Seems to me he wasn't seriously thinking of joining us and wanted to still play at the league above. Just because he lives in the city doesn't mean he wants to drop down a level if he clearly thinks he can still do a job at Step 1. I get the feeling he wasn't entirely happy that he left Solihull. My guess is 1 season at Torquay and then we might see him at Meadow Park.

His kids middle name is 9 apparently as that is the number shirt he had at C********m.

You can't blame him for wanting to stay at the highest possible level. I wonder if his football salary allows him not to take another job, otherwise that is some dedication to his sport.

Big strikers, where is the one we always gave him a lot of stick when he played against us mostly cup games, he took it well and always had the last laugh by scoring, Jon Parkin wonder if he's still playing.
