Yes.
People only remember him for his football; he is barely credited for his work on erectile dysfunction, and the solutions he gave.
If I do draw umbrage though, albeit a miniscule amount, is the way he so easily gave up the birth name that no one ever remembers for a four letter shortcut. Something family do with me, even in front of the kids.
There must be something in this nominosingularity business though if you look at some of the best players to have graced the turf and later on astroturf, and then the Gs. Messi, for example, and its not only limited to football but also to the world of showbiz, eg Prince, and Ghandi.
