That said I don't think I'd criticise anyone for not wanting to fund it, I wouldn't be putting that much money at risk personally to try and get a football team promoted. If anything the issue here is we got the PG appointment wrong, and have effectively wasted the money AP was willing to put in (AP obviously takes his fair share there as he appointed PG in the first place). That first season back was probably our roll of the dice and we came up way short.

I think we had better get used to it.There's logic in that and can't really be argued with. Problem is, it means accepting mediocrity and relegation dogfights. If that's the way it is, so be it, but it demonstrates a dearth of ambition and now that we're back in Gloucester, it's no longer good enough to just maintain our NLN status. But - as I've said elsewhere - we could be Telford!
