Steve King has overspent and plunged the club into financial difficulty and risked the long term future of the club

What did I tell you.

No he hasn’t but then your lack of knowledge about us has happened every time you have posted on here.

That said I don't think I'd criticise anyone for not wanting to fund it, I wouldn't be putting that much money at risk personally to try and get a football team promoted.  If anything the issue here is we got the PG appointment wrong, and have effectively wasted the money AP was willing to put in (AP obviously takes his fair share there as he appointed PG in the first place).  That first season back was probably our roll of the dice and we came up way short.
Paul Groves appointment was a disaster. With LM we were treading water. I had thought that SK's appointment meant that AP's interest in promotion had rekindled, but obviously not now. Regarding crowd size - that alone won't get us promoted, but it does help to fill the coffers, and we'll only get that with success on the pitch.

You've been in denial since the start. Everyone knew this was going to happen and its now in black and white.

Instead we get a budget cut (and yes I’m still calling this a budget cut as I believe it is) and will end up with Hungerfords manager next season. That’s a huge downgrade and will send out all the wrong signals to fans who we want to come and support the club.

That little ramble has absolutely nothing to do with my post, as it merely explains how much I despised Evesham and how much I love being home. It was neither derogatory to SK or pro AP.

My only loyalty lies with GCAFC.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

You may want to learn about what’s going on, the situation has nothing to do with King and he has only spent the money that has been given, not going over that figure.

The last sentence is how I see it be how the club will be financed next season. 800 crowd giving a £8k budget and so on. If the crowd goes down to 600 then the budget will be reduced accordingly. I cannot see the new chairman funding the budget as AP has. I think we had better get used to it.

There's logic in that and can't really be argued with. Problem is, it means accepting mediocrity and relegation dogfights. If that's the way it is, so be it, but it demonstrates a dearth of ambition and now that we're back in Gloucester, it's no longer good enough to just maintain our NLN status. But - as I've said elsewhere - we could be Telford!

One thing thats been proved from AP coming in is that money doesnt guarantee success.
How do Brackley do so well with crowds of 500?,It can be done.

Anyway on a selfish note Im glad that i can watch City VS Kettering on tuesday without having to leave the City.
Looking forward to the new ownership and maybe being underdogs again which suits us.

That is not a statement it is a incoherent ramble blaming anyone but himself. The club has been left to rot for quite some time now. Is anyone actually running the club at this moment or is it the fans? I checked the news on the club website and notice on the team page it still shows mcclure and andrews. Andrews picture is asking for a sponsor!
