Confirmed what's been said earlier. At least they got it out quickly.

Maybe i'm a bit out the loop, but he says people have wanted him gone for ages....why are some fans so against him? My understanding was that AP has done a lot for the club.

AP is right. It's easy for supporters to make a noise about playoffs etc, but it's his money at the end of the day. The club is safe, we're not going to get relegated. It is disappointing, but it's also a reality check. I'd rather SK stayed and was given the money to build a promotion chasing squad for next season, than waste resources now. Our new owners can't take over soon enough.

King wont be here next season I'm almost certain of that. We are lucky we have won our last 2 games because relegation could have been a possibility with these cuts if we hadn't.

And if we did somehow make the playoffs and get promoted, the budget would possibly have to be doubled in order to compete. I don't think that's fair on the incoming chairman who wouldn't have had the chance to lay any foundations yet.

Depends how you want to read it. If Alex has given King more money to spend then for me Alex agreed to that increased budget so in my view the budget is now being cut. Obviously his money and he can do with it what he likes, but let us not forget he has put money into Plymouth via sponsorship recently.

AP can obviously spend his money on whatever he likes, and if his business is struggling then that has to take a priority over the club for him, you can see the logic behind that. However, the optics of him cutting the wage budget this close to the end of the season (whether we are overspending or not) and then sponsoring Plymouth Argyle's shirt doesn't look good in my opinion, and I don't understand why he needs to take digs at supporters in his statements? He could have just explained the situation as he sees it without that.

I'm afraid despite saying "I’m not ‘taking my ball away’", it does come across like that.

Surely Dawson should of just been cut loose understand a pay off would of been needed but the guy is stealing a living
