What are people's views on Piers Morgan? I thought that he was all me, me, me. Watching him on GMB, when he interviews people, he asks direct/relevant questions. I have a respect for him, he asks what the Nation wants to know. The Government have boycotted the Show, got too much of a grilling. He has laid into the Government over the Coronavirus situation, and had an interesting Interview (heated) with the ex New York Mayor and a Lawyer, over what is happening in America. Morning TV can be interesting.

That often gets thrown at him, but he had nothing to do with the Milly Dowler thing - that was the News of the World. Morgan was editor at The Mirror.
That's not to excuse him, it was on his watch that the fake Iraq photos were published.
As for him - I can't stand him, but I think he's been fantastic on his calling out of the government during this pandemic. Anyone thinking they've been in any way successful over their handling of it must be crazy. The fact they're scared to even be interviewed by him on GMB says much about the spinelessness of this government and their clear ineptitude. Only one Tory MP from the back bench - Tobias Ellwood - has even put themselves forward for interview - he handled himself relatively well.

It makes them look weak. So he shouts over them? That would at least garner them a little sympathy.
Instead they look like exactly what they are - a bunch of cowards.
