Not a bad day for Gloucestershire's Tom Price. With his side at 45/7 after the abject failure of the top order at Worcester he comes in at number nine and scores a century, then in the Worcestershire innings gets a hat-trick of wickets!

After Worcester had made a good opening stand - I know at least 2 City fans who would have been gutted.

It was a trio of amazing comebacks yesterday for Gloucestershire sport.

As well as the cricket, the Milkman pulled off a stunning comeback at the Crucible to win 8 of the last 10 frames and squeak through to the second round 10-9.

I was also at Almondsbury last night to watch the Woman's County Cup Final when Forest Green ladies were trailing Pucklechurch 2-1 before a couple of goals in the last couple of minutes of the match turned the game on its head.

Let's hope this is a good omen and this extends to a football team that was exiled for many years, but has come back to its own City, and reversed annual relegation battles with a play-off charge. Let's see if we can get over that line - it will mean more to me than the other 3 comebacks combined!
