Working Parties at NMP

This is no joke when I ask has Twyver House Probabtion Service ever been contacted? They could send people to clear that jungle outside as it in the spirit of community service.

If someone does turn up with their unused weed killer which requires mixing there is a large spray canister just beyond the gym equipment through the external ladies loo.
Good work Stablelad although I would prefer to weed in cooler weather. As I said before weeding by hand gives an immediate effect and is pleasing to the eye and will look better now that the home end entrance is at the far end.

You'd already made a real big difference with the work you'd already done. Looked really sharp and showed what can be done by smartening up the rest of the place too.

Congratulations and thanks to you all for what you're doing.  A lot of us sit on our arses pontificating about what could be done whereas you guys actually do stuff that makes a difference.

Again to help those planning for the work parties.  A little more progress in the battle of man v nature this morning.  All the invading weeds along the far side fence (facing the wilderness) and both ends cut back.  Also cut back weeds and shrubs in the 'floodlight box' area and as far as I could reach on the Shute up from turnstile 1. Plenty more weeds in that area but I couldn't reach them

Others on site doing various jobs to keep place clean and tidy as they do each week, unnoticed.  Rain, shine, snow or todsys roasting temperatures.  Top top people

Not in any way being critical but I noticed from one thread on here about the ‘new’ home entrance. I take it that this relates to moving the T End to its original end of the ground. Will this be officially announced and will it affect the sales of season ticket seats?

Hopefully a good turn out today.  Good luck and enjoy.

Let us know the evening working party arrangements.  NB next week there are trials Monday to Wednesday I believe.  If they are like those earlier this summer it could get quite busy

Massive thank you to the half dozen or so who came along and worked so hard today. There will be some very sore arms and legs tomorrow. Very brisk business on season tickets and shirt pre-orders, with a good few saying they were buying for the first time, so bodes well for our total sales by August. They will be available to buy online this week.

Thank you all!

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Can anybody on here let me know what has / has not been sprayed in the area behind the main Stands and perhaps drop me a privard note with this and details of where the sprayer and weed killer is kept? Circumstances mean I can spare a little time next week to re-engage with the non pitch side weeds!!  Be handy to know where to start.  Thank you.

Ps I know from other conversations ive had that some more work parties are likely so watch this space.
