I mainly think though that people just don’t really want to watch our level of football on a stream. Even during covid not everyone on here would watch the streams and there were also people who didn’t pay to watch the play off game at Brackley. Maybe if we were doing better that would have helped. I think the national league thought that clubs would stream it themselves in the bar and pay for the public stream which I would imagine would probably cover most of the cost but I’ve seen very few clubs actually advertise they have done that. It’s no surprise they have chosen Chester and Torquay games given they have the most fans and thus their games would no doubt make a profit. It’s a shame but if the demand isn’t there then you can’t just keep doing it for the handful that watch it.
I must admit, I hardly bothered with the stream of our matches during the COVID season when we started doing them, even though we were top of the league and I’d paid for them via my season ticket.  For me, football at this level is about being there in-person. (Granted I’m lucky enough to live close to my team).

I don’t miss too many games, but when I couldn’t make it the live streams were an absolute Godsend, and great value, as i then ended up watching reruns of all the games on that day/night. Gutted it’s been discontinued, but it’s a business not a charity, so you can’t blame them. A lot of people I spoke to did watch them, but on their dodgy Firestick so didn’t pay. That can’t have helped make it viable.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Yes this would also have been a big problem. I understand why people do it but sometimes if you want something you have to pay for it and at the end of the day the club were getting some money out of it if you paid. I understand why people do it so they don’t have to pay for sky sports but if you are doing it at this level then I don’t really agree with it

I think a lot of people who watch football at this level are like that. Quite happy to go and watch it in person but if they aren’t there would rather do something else in an evening.

I’ve got a dodgy stream, but I wouldn’t consider using it for this.
