Ex-Players thread

Mike Cook did a brilliant job last time around saving us from what looked like certain relegation. And the last two games we have been excellent - all with a much lower budget than King had.

If MC can prove his mettle by keeping us from getting relegated then he should be given the opportunity and the money next season to put his own squad together.

How does people know these facts? I'm pretty interesting in the club yet I've never known any figures, the only time was when Dave Phillips told me that the budges was £1750pw when we were at Hitchin in late 2008.

I think it’s fair to say it’s a given that our budget is now a good deal lower than it was last season

In other news, H&W are on their way to the first 3pts since August with a KP brace.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Depends on the judge. If he’s found guilty (after pleading not guilty) that will count against him. Given the nature of the alleged crime he’ll have to sign the sex offenders’ register.

No, he's forced to return to Gloucester City AFC  Big Grin.

I doubt very much that he'd get a custodial sentence. Looking at either a suspended sentence or community order. As stated, either way, if found guilty would have to sign the register
