It doesn’t matter if they did or didn’t. It’s hard enough running a club without losing money. It’s all very well having money but if you don’t have a clue how to run a club and manage people then you’re knackered either way.

You have to feel for them, especially as I feel like they've copped some unnecessary abuse. No things have not gone the way they would have hoped, but they seemed like honest people, trying their best.
Will be very interesting to see what happens from here. If someone does come in and throw some money at the team, what does that fix long term, we tried that for three years and ultimately it got us no further forward and evidently left the club fairly unprepared for being run sustainably.
We can but hope that this improves fortunes on the pitch, whilst retaining some of the improvements that have been made off the pitch.
One thing is for certain is that its yet another period of uncertainty for everyone involved.

It is Alex who is coming back and he’s clearly been setting this up for a while. If he cared about the club he wouldn’t have left in the first place and make king struggle last season. The mob wanted cook back and that’s failed and now they wanted Alex back and that will likely fail as well.

Anyone who didn't see this coming must have their eyes shut.
Fans on line abuse, arguments in the bar, bottom of the league, can't have been what they hoped for of course and why put yourself through it?
Let's see what the rest of the day has in store....

I know they tried there best, its not a personal thing. However the Club are ROCK bottom. Even in exile the club managed to avoid ( sometimes just) relegation. Its been a disaster, lets face it.
Not related to the Chambers no, for me the on field stuff is a separate matter than the off field stuff. Someone can throw money at the club and bring in good players and that’s great, but there’s so much more to running a club than that. We were building a community programme, making in roads with the local business community. They made a genuine effort to try to be a truly local club, where in the past we’ve been run by people who frankly have no clue about Gloucester.
I think we survived in exile because we had more of a ‘backs to the wall’ mentality in the club. That shifted towards a ‘who goes to the most away games’ mentality and we just don’t have enough people wanting to give their time for the club now unfortunately.
