The Chambers Have Stepped Down
#31

I am disappointed to see them go, don't understand the people who make noises but don't have any idea about other people willing to come in
Let's hope there are people prepared to take this very difficult task on

You will probably be his mouthpiece now given the lack of media at the club.

Sad to see them go,they had good intentions, the future is grey and unsure, real shame that a group seemed to want them to fail from day 1 which I Will Never understand.
Whoever comes in needs have thickskin looking at whats happened this season.

It is going to be interesting to see what comes next.  Two things AP said that I do agree with, things have got toxic, and the club/fans etc does need to come together.  I know AP has his detractors, but if he is the next incumbent, either short term or long term, I think we need to give him a chance and try to get behind him.  There is no point decrying the abuse the Chambers got, and immediately abusing AP before he has taken a decision in anger.

There is a glaring omission there which is that he has run the club previously so people will naturally draw conclusions based off that previous period

The thing is, it felt pretty toxic, and at times downright chaotic, last season too.

Agreed it probably is a glaring omission, and I'm not expecting people who have a genuine issue with him to become his best mate all of a sudden, but we also need to move forward as a club.  Plus maybe there are things he will do differently this time because of the last tenure, who knows.  If it is him he has to be given a chance, if not for the sole reason that there might be no other option.

Also agreed.  I don't think it would be anyone's choice to go back to some of the chaos of last season off the pitch, but we also are where we are.

Seems the case, what I would like to know is all these people that wanted the Chambers out, what do they actually want? I heard songs from the T-END that " we want our club back" when AP/Eamon was still putting cash in,with the Chambers they had It back and could have helped the club in a positive way but they Didnt want that either.
