I've not seen anything that says that Alex is back involved. Is he?

Granted there was some discord in the past but one can hope that can be set aside for the good of the team. Sowing division is unhelpful.

If what took place I think it was at Gateshead actually happened- and there we supporters who post on here who said it did then I would have sacked him too for total disrespect for his employees.

No division needing to be sowed given what Cook actually thinks of Alex and what he called him to get himself sacked in the first place. My guess is the truce wont last the season.

New signing, Liam Cross on a three month loan from Brackley. Nor sure if he's eligible for the Trophy but according to Darran he's only played 30 minutes so far this season.

In the League that is as Wyscout doesn't have FA Cup matches. That was against Blyth last Saturday.

Hopefully we benefit from whatever the equivalent of a "new manager bounce" is for when your chairman and operations manager leave.

In an ideal world this game would be a nice distraction, a win might just galvanise us and we'd go into the game against Peterborough Sports with a bit of positivity and a chance to get the league back on track.

But this is the real world and we're probably going to be a mess for a while.

Do we have any players who've been out of action available for tomorrow?

Did well on loan at Leamington, improved with every game & scored 3 cracking goals for them before being recalled to Northampton. Fair few at Leamington think they could have stayed up if he’d been allowed to stay on loan.
