The next month

At the risk of wearing Dave’s famous rose tinted glasses… it feels like there’s a seeping acceptance that we’re already down. We are far from relegated. 5 of our next 7 games are against teams that are in the relegation fight mini-league. 5!!
These next 7 games are absolutely key to where we finish.
Now is not the time for negativity, it’s the time for belief, for positivity, and doing that thing Gloucester City has been brilliant at, not knowing when we’re beaten or not giving up.
It feels like things have been a little nervy recently and as much as us fans can’t be on the pitch scoring ourselves, we’ve got a role to play off the pitch, and show the players how much it means to us. And motivating the players is something we can and should all do.
We’re far from down, and there’s still over 40% of the season left. But we absolutely cannot say we’re already down.
I might be accused of being too optimistic,  and maybe I am. But until the point there’s an R next to our name, not a single one of us should give up hope, because that’s half the battle!
Come on City!

Agree Charlie, we can’t give up. Although losing that 2-0 lead in the last 10 minutes vs Southport seriously dented my optimism.

Agree , we definitely need at least 12 points from this series of games

Anything other than nine points from the next three games will be a failure if only to stop them (Banbury & Kings Lynn) getting away from us and Stortford catching us.

Not sure Neil's post was exactly positive either.

We need all the points, and wins we can get to have a hope, but I’d say if we were going to drop points in any I’d choose BS, as they’re never getting up to 20th. An over used phrase, but tonight is a “must win”
