No surprise the stats showed our dominance in the 2nd half. We only had 3 shots in the first half but 2nd half we had 4 strong chances with hanks having the best chance of the game with an xG if 0.57. Not sure I agree with that as I’d have said pinchards or wrights were better but they were 0.31 and 0.34. The goals were only 0.05 and 0.06. Banbury didn’t have another shot after they scored and their total xG was just 0.63.

There was talk of formation on the Blyth thread and wyscout has us playing 4-2-3-1 that day and then 4-3-1-2 in this one. That’s the first game we’ve had 2 up front since we beat Spennymoor at the end of November.
