Absolutely were never going to bottle it. Unbeaten in 30 odd games and will quite deserved win the league at a canter. Rees is different gravy at this level and stayed loyal to his home town Club despite offers of more dough from elsewhere. Him, plus several other class players mean they completely deserve to win the division.

Today’s results have gone our way, but if we don’t negotiate the play offs (and it’s a big if), we can only look to emulate what you’ve achieved next season.

He is I think, but he’s been at Merthyr for a good while and has shown admirable loyalty.

Well I spoke to a relative of his when they played at out place, and he was definitely very Welsh!

Perhaps I’m getting confused. He was on Bristol City’s books and played for Bath and Yate before signing for Merthyr.

Remember when they were the next big thing and Steve Claridge was involved? Got his autograph in his book at MP though can't recall if we were playing Weymouth or he just happened to be at the game
