Totton 980 on Saturday.
Taunton 849 on Saturday. 100 of those were us.

I counted up in the second half and we had a couple under 90 behind the goal alone. Add to that another 15 or so by the dug outs, about 10 I saw in the one stand plus another 10 sat opposite we were pushing 130-140! Fantastic support.

Reflected by Tuesday’s 800+ super for a Tuesday evening. Will be disappointed if we are not approaching 1k on Saturday. For those of us who went on Saturday and Tuesday we were treated to some excellent attacking football (2nd half Sat 1st Tuesday!) which is what fans want to see with goals galore- along with our nail biting anxious GCFC moments of course.

Not SL, but we don't have a thread for northern hellholes so interesting to see that Blyth have binned Nobby Solano already!

Hardly a surprise. They’ve been awful since going down and sit second-bottom in the NPL. They conceded nine goals over the weekend and I’ve been following some of their fans’ Twitter posts. It makes for some interesting reading.

They've certainly had some interesting sponsors over the years, from Viz Comic to Visit North Korea... https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/d...orth-korea

If anyone fancies a giggle have a read of Frome’s match report following their home defeat to Taunton. The author is not a fan of the opposition.

We need more independant websites like these. I used to love writing match reports with the specific aiming of getting people to bite. One of my favourites was calling people from Chesham "Cockney", they loved that Wink

Nice one. Made I laugh. Owen Brain enthusiast here and just a shame we couldn't keep him. He and KP together would be solid gold...

Great club all the same. Despite the ridiculous mileage one of my favourite away trips. Nice people. Hope they get their mojo back
