Good. Consistency at last. Hopefully it'll silence any further agitation about yet another managerial change.

I'm worried about cook staying if I'm honest. The way we capitulate in games is worrying. His in game management is poor. His team selections are baffling. Playing Durrell at Full back again when it was only a couple of weeks ago when he played him left back, he  hooked him off  after first  20 minutes against Boston when we were 3 nil down after having a disaster, he then keeps him on for 70 minutes today. His post match interviews don't inspire me. "We playing teams with massive budgets who are full time" etc etc (seems to be the easy excuse) Like we haven't been competing in these circumstances for the majority of our NLN status and last but not least the shocking results we've had at home lately. Imagine the uproar if this was happening under Flowers.

I’d personally like to see a director of football in place next season who is qualified to be able to properly assess the suitability of all playing and coaching staff across the club

Why does it need someone pumping money in? Plenty who would do it for nothing.

I don't mean this to sound dismissive but is there actually anyone who would do it for free and also do it well? Feels to me like the kind of role where you get what you pay for. A well intentioned amateur is still an amateur.

Makes you think…..

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

Who cares if Mike Cook stays, nothing will change.
Director of football would have to be Tim Harris

I’m firmly in the Cook out camp now. So many heavy defeats have been embarrassingly heavy and ultimately we have gone down whilst he’s been manager and he’s been manager for long to have kept us up. So Cook needs to go
