Cooky in or out

There you go we've found the solution. We just need to decide which metropolis and who'll drive the coach.

It’s not a bad idea I don’t think, I personally wouldn’t care where the players came from. You’d probably get a backlash from the Facebook local football community but hey ho, we want to win matches and there isn’t the talent around here.

Which imo totally justifies SK approach the flip side being the cost involved.

I don't think it matters who the manager is. The club is doomed this season. If Cook wants to stay then fine.. if he walked I wouldn't blame him.

Nobody succeeds at this club in its current state. Unfortunately with the club in its current state there's nothing tangible to invest in. It's a vicious circle from which it is hard to escape.

We all know who needs to make themselves scarce.

Speaking of ‘he who shall not be named’, is he actively trying to sell the Club? There’s a difference between trying to offload it and attracting potential buyers versus burying your head in the sand and trying to minimise your financial exposure.

I’m also wondering if the Supporters Trust will get any meaningful dialogue with him at any point.

I guess the extra cost would be renting a training pitch which could be offset by renting out our pitch during the week to local sides and the coach. If we would be using a coach every week instead of every two. We might even get a bit of discount there. Alternatively put £1 or whatever on the gate or the burgers. I'd imagine it's doable.

There are handful of other individuals who are getting an easy pass in all this, IMO.

It has to be a complete fresh start.

Few local players cut it. Even if there is talent we'd be unlikely to get a look-in - the few players worthy of EFL and higher standards end up with the noisy neighbours or seek their trade further afield.

Seems to work for Barrow AFC.

Personally I hate the idea and totally goes against the idea of trying to create a sustainable football club.

We're close enough to Bristol & Birmingham in any case.
