To stand a chance we’ve got to have at least 2/3 players who are the best in the league in their position, wherever they come from. It’s been a while since we were in this position but we need an Alex Sykes calibre of player banging in 25+ goals.

And both Rees and Ebanks have got 20+ goals this season at the level we're going into.

Also, our top scorer in the league this season - Brandon Smalley - came from the league below.
Dada, Hall, and Nirrenold from last season's play-off side are in the league below now.

My take on yesterday's game
2 very poor teams playing hoof ball.
To be fair to Peterborough they did look too shoot even if it was off target.
I think we waited till about the 70th minute for our first shot, are 2nd and only shot on target being a late tame header in about the 85th minute.
If you don't shoot, you don't score

Kitto I agree - likewise Neil especially your last sentence- which imo will be totally down to the size of the budget.

So it all breaks down to budget and if the current owners have any aspiration to get back into NLS or N.
I hope when the mathematical certainty happens AP or someone actualy tells us what to expect!!!

He wasn't our top scorer in the league though. Four of Beresford's goals came in the County Cup against much weaker opposition - Smalley was rested for those games I believe.
