2 very poor teams playing hoof ball.

To be fair to Peterborough they did look too shoot even if it was off target.

I think we waited till about the 70th minute for our first shot, are 2nd and only shot on target being a late tame header in about the 85th minute.

If you don't shoot, you don't score

Funny thing is I watched Boston come to us and try to score straight away (and they did). Why didn't they wait until the 70th minute that day? How is it even possible that we aren't good enough to get close enough to our opponents goal to get a chance of scoring in more than an hour of playing? And it's not as though they're one of the better sides in the league either.

I don't know how many City fans went but it's a near 300 mile round trip on a bank holiday Monday. You must've known that we weren't going to win 4-0. I don't know how anyone currently has the appetite to travel. Will anyone go to Alfreton?

That would be nice, but I wouldn’t hold your breath. Let’s hope the Supporters’ Trust are able to develop some meaningful dialogue………

Have been to Warrington, Spennymoor, Warrington and Peterborough in last few weeks and despite the unexpected win at Warrington we are a poor team who find it difficult to pass a ball and despite some hard work we have no pace up front or support from midfield to trouble organised teams. Looks like it will be all over on Saturday and difficult to raise any enthusiasm for Alfreton and Curzon Ashton. Also the last team i would want to relegate us are Chester, not the most pleasant bunch.  It is important that the people supposedly in charge of the club make a statement about the intentions for next season. We will be up against better organised teams with spirit rather than a rag-bag of disparate individuals seeing out contracts.

Did you get your braces caught on the gatepost in Warrington? Smile

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

I saw the Warrington highlights, we had three shots to their ten, it was a freak result in our favour.
