I have to agree with the opening thread by growlithe.
That said I hope these already contracted players give 100% next season or again we’ll be shafted by a previous regime.
If MC gets the players he wants then exciting things lay ahead.

Are they players that he wants or players that he is able to sign? The five seem to be the best players at clubs in the league that we're going into. Considering that people were bemoaing the fact that we had players who were here only for the money then if we have any chance of signing these players then we'll have to give them big money!

From what I am seeing there Seems to be some good decions / structure being set Up by the new board such as the business event to be hold, Just Hope that sponsors gives us another chance as It seemed they Didnt get the atention they deserved last season, we need them badly to get a winning team on the pitch.

I agree the things happening off the field look very positive. Let’s hope it continues.

What kind of exposure did sponsors get from what they paid last season? It would be interesting to hear what they expected and what they got and now we're under a new regime use the findings to improve anything that might've been lacking.

All I ask for next season is that the players coming in, whoever they are, are of quality for the level if not better than we now see ourselves at and they and those that we have retained are physically fit! What we had last season were a bunch of "players" who if asked to sprint 100yds would probably have had a bowel misfunction at the end of it!! Harsh maybe but the fitness level was bl*"dy awful.

Not harsh at all. We were shockingly frail. Was it physical or just a bunch of free loaders putting in the least possible effort for the greatest possible reward?

I was under the impression it was yesterday.

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.
