I’m gonna watch it there. Spikes for tea!

(Probably sensible to move it to 2pm though!)

Sticking around a while yet, thanks to a gift from a generous angel.

I think I’d rather watch the PSF than England right now. Genuine question: have any of you actually enjoyed any of our first four matches? I’m seriously debating not watching it as we’re going to get taken apart by a very organised Swiss side.

As we know at whatever level it’s not how u play it’s the result and we are through to the quarter finals.

To answer your question no I haven’t enjoyed it one bit. We have been awful. We have some quality players but I’m not sure how they are being asked to play and I’m not sure they do. As you say Switzerland will be the test. Best get them engines warmed up.

We are set Up to stop the oposition scoring but with no plan to scored ourselves, its a dreadfull watch, When we start chasing the Game at a very late stage( Brings on attacking players to late) and the Game plan goes out the Windows,we play better, says It all.
Its like having a Ferrari and driving It like a Ford  Fiesta.

I absolutely love watching us knock it around the back four for minutes at a time.

I think your exaggerating your final sentence , seems like a model T- Ford rather  then a Ford Fiesta .
Played rubbish for the qualifying games except for the first 20 minutes in the first game  ? missed yesterday's game felt knackered so decided to go and have a kip ,glad we got  though but glad I chose the kip, instead of watching.

Very sensible Jim. We were awful but got through and that’s all that matters

Its not all that matters though is It? When we come Up against a Spain, Germany we Will get hammered.
If he changed something táctically we could do better, we have to attack knowing we may concede 2 but have the players to score 3.

Winning is all that matters. No one goes round celebrating how well a team played in the group stages or last 16. I’ve seen enough glorious failures to last a lifetime, now I’d like to see us win something and I couldn’t care less how we go about it. If we played like Germany or Spain have then people would be saying that we haven’t played anyone decent, so let’s see if they can keep up the levels of performance because it’s very rare that team get completely outplayed when you are down to the final four. They will need to dig in to get results, we’ve already showed that we can do that.
