Good effort from the club this. Which side will Neil Mustoe play for?
I wonder what sort of team Man U will field? Normally youth trainers from 90s/00s who didn't make more than 10 first team appearances. Wes Brown if we're lucky!

Well someone at City has some decent contacts! Would expect a decent crowd for that.

I went to Evesham United's Opening match at the Jubilee Stadium. It was Evesham United All Stars v Manchester United Legends. Ron Atkinson was the Manager of the Man Utd team. He cut a red ribbon on the centre circle, to Officially open the ground, before the start of the match.
The Manchester United team had the likes of Denis Irwin, Lee Martin, David May, Clayton Blackmore, Russell Beardsmore, Mark Robins.
The crowd was around 2500. Can't remember what the final score was, but a few goals were scored.
Andrew Adebowale, Hannah, Hoskins, Kirkup, Mainwaring, Tucker, Wollen.
Danny ANDREW, Jake ANDREWS.

When they played Yate a few years back the biggest name they fielded was Danny Webber, who never made a league appearance for Man U.
Not knocking it mind you. It should be a fun day and draw a decent crowd regardless. See Chris Burns snap Keith Gillespie and Lee Smith nutmeg David May.

Maybe we could ask Tim Flowers if he would like to make a 'Guest Appearance' in goal for us. Could be up against his former Blackburn Rovers teammate, David May. Maybe Henning Berg might be involved.
