Nice save, mate. I may be chastised for saying it, but family is far more important than football.

Stood next to the three second half invaders to the T-End and I must admit I had to laugh when one of them got on one knee and starting seeing "You've lost that lovin' feeling" to the security guard with the Silver Aviator sunglasses on

Great result on the pitch, I won the Golden Goal (cheers DaveAngel for sorting) and my old man had money on 2-1 (I backed my predictor league result of 2-2) so happy days and we move to Saturday

Very good win and with another 3 points at home takes us up to 4 th and 3 rd in the form table. Early days
but going nicely with only the One defeat so far . Only one thing has gone wrong today. is that I lost commentary at half time and couldn't get it back? Not the radios fault but my own stupidity, everything went dead on me.Never mind 3 points is more than enough compo for missing the second half commentary .

Ten points from the first five games, take that all day long. We dug in today and deserved that win. Some potentially fruitful games on the horizon too.

Let’s put a few things straight - the world didn’t come to an end after Saturday and MC is still in charge.

As for the match I thought Merthyrs front two Rees and Simpson were excellent and you can see why they will roll teams over but we have experience in Ball BRE and Duffus who combined to keep the threat out.

We appeared to be playing 5-3-1 and KP worked hard. Great to see the corner routine work again and Hanky’s second was I thought a bit bizarre- there was a hand ball in the box by a Merthyr player everyone was expecting the ref to give a penalty and stopped all except JH who said thank you.

Played in good spirit with an excellent crowd.

Thought merthyr were a decent side, moved the ball around but didn't take their chances. I'd be disappointed if I was merthyr coming home without at least a point.

Good to see KP back starting, got sharper as the game went home.

COOK IN!

Bloody hell, you've got good eyesight!
