WHAT !!!!!

Wind up merchant or not, a wholly disrespectful post to make.

As for the game. MAP are a good side, runners up in the League above us last year and going great guns this time as well. They put 5 past their League opposition last week and have only lost once all season. They took a chance that came there way after 20 minutes. We pressed, had chances and gave them plenty to think about. Our defence held firm until about the 80 minute mark when they scored when we were pressing for an equaliser. It took a smart save and an excellent tackle from MAPs to keep us out but they scored a 3rd while we were hunting to get back in the game. Our goal was well deserved. Yes, the best side on the day won (as they should being a tier above us); they've some fine players particularly I though the 2 centre halves. But we showed again that there is a lot more to look forwards to as this season unfolds. Me? Disappointed? Well, yes as it's never nice to loose of course but more than that proud of our team that gave it a right good go. We go again next week.

An a word for the Reserves whose unbeaten start rolls on. Delighted for them.

Quite a cagey match, while MAP were slightly the better team, I think we were unlucky the ref didn't give a foul just before the first, and a penalty to us just before the second. Good goal by Sachi, she's definitely the one to watch this season.

Was good to see over 100 in attendance today - Corsham Town are the visitors to the TigerTurf Stadium next Sunday, when the Women look to continue their unbeaten start to the league. Both the First team and the Reserves have a real chance at promotion this season.

First time I've been to watch the women in a year or two. 9 starters from USA makes for an interesting vibe. When I used to come there were a lot of the players' families in the stands. Now just a few Hartpury students really

Game was ok, but MAP always looked slightly better. Good consolation goal for the City #9, who looked lively all match.

Interesting that the reserve team will be neck and neck with FGR reserves this season. City won 8-0 on Sunday; FGR won 17-1!!!

And without a recognised keeper! The 2 play each other in a couple of weeks

Bloody hell, you've got good eyesight!
