Gloucester College car park

For awareness, the parking charges have changed recently.

It used to be that a flat charge of £1 would cover a whole weekday evening (through to 6am the following day). Great value and really convenient for NMP.

Now it has changed to hourly rates no matter what time you are parking.  I think the maximum stay is 4 hours.  £1 now gets you 1 hour, I didn’t see what a longer stay cost: I put my £1 in on autopilot on Tuesday night and decided I’d just chance it, maverick that I am.

I’ve parked there for evening matches. I think you have to pay up til 9.30pm. It costs me £2.20 on the JustPark App.

How have we normalised having to pay money every time you get out of your car? Makes my piss itch.

On Tuesday I parked for free on Severn Road - there were a fair few spaces when I got there.

Amen to that! Same here in every town and city. I feel like it's a way to demonize cars to force people to use public transportation... though you have to pay for that too.
