I think Dale Vince would demolish the cathedral as it doesn't fit his low carbon future agenda and build a windmill on it if he could: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/some...r-AA1vx4z5

The “You can’t blame them for going to FGR”

They deserve to burn in hellfire.

In my opinion. Smile

Sadly, this is a very shrewd move by FGR. A lot of comments asking "Why are they moving ground when they never fill their current stadium?". That's exactly why they're moving ground. They're on a hill in the arse end of nowhere. Moving to a site 2 minutes off the motorway, 10 minutes from Gloucester, will make them a much more appealing prospect for fans.

Our best defence would be winning leagues (not easy) and increased community outreach work, particularly in the south of the City.

That's a great idea.

What is it?

Well FGR have sent players to local kids tournaments to hand out trophies to the winners. Also emailed round clubs offering free tickets.

Gloucester Rugby sent 2 players to my son's primary school today to talk about their careers in the school assembly.

Didn't we used to do this stuff with Joe Parker and Matt Liddiard? Tough sell when we had no ground.

As an example we are going to be doing free football coaching in an open space in a neighbourhood in Gloucester. Simple free organised kickabout, with our own coaches.

In the long term, this could be replicated across the city. What this achieves is firstly its good PR, it makes us more socially responsible and more attractive to sponsors. It creates the image that we are an organised, respectable organisation. The more people that Gloucester City comes into contact with, the more chance we will have of increasing crowds.

When people want something to do on a Saturday, are they currently considering Gloucester City? If you don’t follow us on social media, which is the case for the vast majority of the city, how would you be aware of our matches?

Dale Vince has tweeted about his ex-wife's divorce settlement, looks like she got £40M. I wonder if she wants to buy a football club?!!
